Mr Birds Emporium

Mr Birds Emporium is now open in the Custard Factory, Birmingham and it has been nice to see a collection of both old and new customers coming through the doors.  The shop has been open jus over a week and already we are hearing very positive comments on the mix of permanent traders and the fact that Birmingham now has a mixture of independent shops like every other major city in the country.  

Mr Birds is based in the Custard Factory in Digbeth and it is a collection of 10 permanent traders plus a Mr Birds space which houses a mixture of home wear, art, gifts and much more.  The shop is open Tuesday-Sat 10:30-5:30pm.  On a Saturday the shops are joined by a market called the Custard Cream.

MUA Nail Constellation

I have seen lots of Twitter and Blog posts about MUA Cosmetics new range of Constellation beads for nails.  For the past few weeks I have been looking for the range in Superdrug and today I finally got my hands on some! 

I picked up Gemini, Scorpio and Libra and I am really pleased that I did.  I used the Gemini colour way today and teamed it with some bright plum nail varnish.  Each constellation pot cost £3 and the nail varnish cost £1.  

I tried the beads on one nail and I am really pleased with the overall effect, the beads clung to the wet nail varnish but I struggled to contain the beads although I think this was because it was the first time I had used it.  

I can't wait to try the other ranges and I am hoping that they continue to bring out more ranges. In the bottom picture I have teamed the look up with a Tallulah Rose handmade ring, I have an exclusive range of them in store at Mr Birds at the moment.

Blogging

Hi I have really neglected my blog for the last few weeks as I have been insanely busy getting ready for the opening of my new shop in Mr Birds Emporium in Birmingham. I will be back over the next week or so to give you some updates of what has been happening over the last few weeks and some of the things I have in store for the next few months.

Hi everyone hope you are all well, sorry for the lack of blogposts lately as I am sure you have guessed my time is being taken up getting ready for Mr Birds, I spent this weekend with a few friends packaging and labelling lots of stock which took a lot longer than I thought and still isn't finished!

I am really pleased to say I have noticed an increased in Blog and Twitter followers and my Facebook group is fast approaching 500 likes.  When I reach 500 I will be having another giveaway so make sure you have hit like on my page.

Mr Birds Update

Hi everyone the 13th of October is fast approaching and things are in full swing for the huge launch event of Mr Birds Emporium.  I thought I would share some photographs with you to give you a quick update.
